Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

 Our products are delivered in the following ways:

  • Pickup and local delivery in Los Angeles, CA
  • Front Door Parcel Delivery (e.g., UPS, USPS, FedEx) to your delivery address
  • Home Delivery for most furniture and other items that exceed parcel carrier shipping weight limits.

 

Pickup and Local delivery

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 336 S Ave 16, Los Angeles, CA 90031. After placing your order and selecting pickup at checkout, in-stock items will be prepared and ready for pickup usually within 5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. Contact us at hello@patrickcaindesigns.com if local delivery may be available to you.

 

Standard Shipping

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We offer free shipping for orders for $199. Most Front Door items ship from our warehouse and arrive within 4-5 business days of receiving your order. Custom orders may take longer.

 

Freight Shipping

Some of our products (e.g., coffee tables) are too large to ship via a parcel carrier service and must be shipped via LTL freight carrier. The LTL freight carrier may contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. Please be present for the delivery of your order. Delivery of the order from the curb to the inside of a home or business is the responsibility of the customer.

Being Present for Freight/Truck Delivery

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number(s). LTL freight carriers will not deliver your order without a scheduled appointment. This makes it vital to have the correct contact name and phone number on the BOL. It is the customer's responsibility to keep up with delivery date and time to be present at time of delivery.

 Note: If a delivery is attempted and no one is present to accept the delivery you may be responsible for re-delivery fee.

The removal and disposal of packaging materials, including pallets and skids, is the responsibility of the customer.

If your product is damaged in any way, you must refuse delivery and MUST be reported immediately. If you find minimal damage, you may note the damage on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery.

 

Damages & Lost Shipments

Please be present for the delivery of your order. We take every precaution to ensure safe arrival and have consulted with the carriers to develop packaging. Upon delivery of your order, please inspect the package(s) for damage prior to signing for and/or accepting them from the shipping carrier. If your product is damaged in any way, you must refuse delivery and MUST be reported immediately.  By signing for and/or accepting the package(s), you are assuming liability for the condition of the package(s) you received. Although PCD may assist customers with damage issues in certain situations, this will be done entirely at its discretion.

Undeliverable Address or Refusal of Delivery

Orders or merchandise that is undelivered due to an incorrect address or refusal of delivery will be returned to our warehouse. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs. We will make every attempt to correct an address or contact the buyer prior to the return. If your merchandise is returned, you will be credited for the order minus the shipping cost.
